 The prenatal care I received with Christine and Betsy was top-notch. They were extremely knowledgeable, kind and respectful; made my husband 100% part of the process; and took time addressing any questions or concerns we had during appointments - even responding after hours. My labor and delivery experience was amazing! During labor, Christine and Betsy were present to check on me and see if I needed anything (food, drinks, bathroom, pain management help and suggestions), but really stayed in the background and let my husband be my main support, which is what we wanted. A few hours after our son was born, we had to transfer to the hospital (nothing related to delivery or prenatal care). Christine accompanied us to the hospital, helped us check in and speak with the doctors, making sure we were completely okay before leaving, and then checked in with us frequently the two days we were there.
I think one of my favorite things about my homebirth experience were the conversations with Christine and Betsy during labor, and after my son was born but before we transferred to the hospital - they were knowledgeable and honest, yet kind and loving, even when there was a tough call to make; they guided my husband and I in making informed decisions, but didn't ever treat us as if they were 'in charge', only fostered the environment that this was my body, and our (husband and I) family and birth. I would absolutely recommend Morning Glory Childbirth Services to anyone! |
